Bandje

iPad

Record on your iPad. Read it with room to spare.

Transcribed on your iPad. Nothing leaves it, except to your own iCloud if you turn it on.

For iPad with iPadOS 26 or later.

Bandje on iPad: the list of recordings on the left, a transcript with speaker names on the right

How it works

  1. 1

    Tap.

Tap the record button. Put your iPad on the table.

  2. 2

    Talk.

Have your meeting as usual. Tap again to stop.

  3. 3

    Read.

Read the transcript. With speaker names, next to the list of recordings.

What it does

Records, then transcribes

Meetings, interviews, lectures. Transcribed on your iPad, in 25 languages, with speaker labels.

Name each speaker by listening to a short clip of them.

Room for both

The list of recordings on the left, the recording on the right: transcript, summary and player.

Search titles and transcripts, then read and listen without switching screens.

Transcribes the audio you already have

Open a voice memo or any audio file in Bandje, from Files or the share sheet.

Bandje makes a transcript of it, just like a recording.

Syncs with your Mac and iPhone

Turn on iCloud and every recording, transcript and summary appears on your Mac and iPhone.

Through your own iCloud, not through us. Off by default.

Your conversations stay on your iPad.

Audio, transcripts and summaries are stored in Bandje’s folder on your iPad. Delete a recording and it’s gone.

No account. No analytics. iCloud only if you switch it on.

One honest footnote: the app does a license and active-device check at most once a month for Desert Ant Labs, the maker of the speech models (who acts as an independent data controller for this signal). It sends a random install ID and version numbers, not tied to you. Never audio, never text. Privacy details

Also on your Mac and iPhone.

Record calls on your Mac and memos on your iPhone. Same purchase, no extra cost.
