Naming speakers
Give the speakers in a transcript their real names.
Open the recording in the Bandje window and choose Name Speakers… under More, or choose Name Speakers… in the menu: it opens the current recording. To work on an older recording from the menu, choose Choose Recording first.
For every speaker you see their longest quote. Click the play button to hear that part, type a name and click Save. Bandje updates the transcript and any later summary. Leave a field empty to keep the label.
On a phone line with a menu or hold music, Bandje sometimes hears more speakers than there were. Give two labels the same name, or leave the extra one as it is.
