iCloud sync

See your recordings, transcripts, summaries and templates on your iPhone, iPad and Mac.

Turn on Sync with iCloud in Settings under Recordings, or in the welcome screen the first time you open Bandje. Use the same Apple Account on every device, with iCloud Drive turned on. Without iCloud Drive, the switch is greyed out.

• When you turn it on, the recordings on this device move to iCloud Drive › Bandje.
• New recordings and imports are made on your device first, and move to iCloud when they are done.
• Recordings from your other devices download by themselves. Each device transcribes only its own new recordings automatically. Tap Transcribe to transcribe one from another device.
• Your templates join the shared templates in iCloud. A template with the same name that's already there stays.
• When you turn it off, iCloud keeps everything. Recordings that are fully downloaded are copied to this device, so they stay in your list. New recordings stay on this device only.

Apple encrypts iCloud Drive end to end when Advanced Data Protection is on. Bandje has no server and never sees your recordings.

On your Mac, turn on Sync with iCloud in Bandje's Settings….
