Recording without opening Bandje

Start and stop a recording with Siri, the Shortcuts app, Control Centre, the Lock Screen or the Action button.

• Siri: say "Record with Bandje" or "Start a recording in Bandje", and "Stop the recording in Bandje" or "Stop Bandje".
• Shortcuts: use the actions Start Recording and Stop Recording.
• Control Centre and Lock Screen: add the Bandje control Record. Tap it to start, and again to stop.
• Action button: on an iPhone with an Action button, choose Controls in Settings › Action Button and pick the Bandje control Record.

Your very first recording must start in the app, after the reminder about telling people you record. After that, all of these work.

While you record, the Live Activity on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island shows the title and the time, with Pause and Stop. A stopped recording is saved like any other and opens when you return to Bandje.
